We live in a hyper-cognitive, accelerated world
We live with high exposure to digital, news, AI etc. Hence we are increasingly disconnected from the body, friends, nature, and shared meaning. And when life changes aren’t shared or supported, people are often left to handle difficult experiences alone.

Mental Health: A Global Crisis
Over one billion people worldwide experience a mental health disorder at some point in their lives. Anxiety, depression, disengagement at work, loss of meaning, and chronic mental fatigue have become defining features of modern life.

Who Needs Help Most?
Some groups are disproportionately affected, including young adults and students, people facing hardship, older isolated adults, individuals struggling with addiction, migrants, populations living in conflict zones.
Maybe it is time to stop chatting. And start talking.

Steps that shift perspective
WAT was born from a simple question: Can we design an approach that is affordable, easy to deploy, and capable of reaching the people who currently have no access to mental support (2/3rd of the 1 billion individuals)?
Rather than adding another layer to an already saturated system, we chose a different path — one that is simple, accessible, low-cost, and universal, yet still professional, structured, and grounded in solid clinical and academic research.
Our approach draws from practices with strong potential for broad impact: the long tradition of walking as a tool for reflection and meditation, structured dialogue methods rooted in storytelling and collective intelligence, existential psychology, nature-based and outdoor support programs, forest bathing…
