WAT Guide.

Walking is simple. Conversation is simple. But delivering mental wellbeing requires the right approach. WAT Guides are trained for that, which allows them to develop a sustainable activity.

Who are WAT Guides?

WAT Guides are people who know how to create space: space to walk, talk, think, feel, and reconnect They don’t “lead” in the traditional sense. They walk alongside. And, in doing so, motivate people to take a different path for their mental clarity.

There is no single profile but many guides come from fields such as: coaching / personal development, wellness, therapists / psychology / mental health, yoga, mindfulness, or meditation, outdoor guiding / hiking, education / social work. And sometimes… no formal background at all: just a strong ability to listen and connect.

Great WAT Guides tend to love walking (of course), listen more than they speak, feel comfortable with silence, create trust naturally, stay present (even when conversations go deep), respect boundaries. You just need to know how to hold the space.

A Meaningful Activity (That Also Is Sustainable)

We don’t position this as a “business”: WAT is an NGO. But, for guides, it generates a flow of income. That’s the best way to make it sustainable over time. Guides offer paid group walks to individuals and institutions (companies, NGOs, healthcare providers etc.). They can also integrate WAT into their existing professional practices (e.g. during retreats or as a complement to other forms of therapies).

The pricing model is flexible, and WAT is compensated through a contribution. The opportunities grow with experience and local context. Discover more in our trainings. Or contact us directly.
